BUILDS’ 38,000 SQ. FT. RENOVATION COMPLETED IN 142 DAYS

Houston, TX – Odyssey Academy proudly announces the grand opening of its newly renovated Pre-K–8th grade campus, marking a major milestone for the community. The transformation of the former Edgar A. Smith Family YMCA into a state-of-the-art, 38,000 sq. ft. learning facility was completed in just 142 days—an incredible feat achieved through dedication, efficiency, and teamwork.
The renovation, led by Boujourne Builds, LLC, took place during the summer of 2024 and was successfully finished in time for the 2024–2025 school year. The newly upgraded campus will provide students with a modern and inspiring learning environment.
"We were thrilled to welcome our students, staff, and the community back to Odyssey Academy," said Dr. Jennifer Goodman, Superintendent of Odyssey Academy. "These upgrades will not only enhance our students’ academic experience but also motivate them to reach new heights in their education."

To celebrate this momentous occasion, Odyssey Academy invites parents, students, and community members to an official ribbon-cutting ceremony on February 28, 2025, at 14650 Old Galveston Road, Webster, Texas 77598. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet staff and enjoy light refreshments.
